ToggleTeam India skipper Virat Kohli has grabbed headlines for all the wrong reasons during India’s tour of New Zealand. Kohli struggled to tackle the high-quality New Zealand pace bowling attack and was dismissed for cheap scores in the tour. He managed to score just one fifty in eight innings.
Soon after that, questions have been raised over his poor run of form. As if his terrible form wasn’t enough, he ended a forgettable tour of New Zealand by triggering a fresh controversy over his infamous sendoff to New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson.

Rajkumar Sharma defends Virat Kohli:
While the majority of the netizens criticised Virat Kohli for his attitude, Virat Kohli’s childhood coach by the name of Rajkumar Sharma has, however, defended his ward, saying that everyone appreciates Virat Kohli when he is doing well with the same aggression for the nation.
According to Sharma, Virat Kohli’s biggest strength is his aggression while also adding that aggression pumps him up to do incredibly well across formats. He added Kohli has never crossed his limits and also advised him not to do so.

“When he’s doing well with the same aggression for the country, then everyone appreciates him. That time, they say that aggression is his strength. I’ve always believed that yes, aggression is his strength, but there’s a thin line between aggression and misbehaviour. He never crosses that line, and he shouldn’t do that as well. Aggression pumps him up to do well,” Rajkumar Sharma was quoted as saying by TOI.
Sharma is not worried over Kohli’s batting form who ran through the worst phase of his cricketing career, having managed only 38 runs in two Tests at a paltry average of 9.50 in New Zealand.
Law of averages caught up with Virat Kohli: Rajkumar Sharma
“Every player goes though a lean patch. There’s something called as law of averages in cricket. That has caught up with him. There’s nothing to worry. He’s too good a player. He knows where it’s going wrong. We’ve already discussed that. He’ll be back. He’s a magnificent player. In the next series (against South Africa), he’ll show what he’s capable of,” Rajkumar Sharma added in a statement.
The childhood coach termed Virat Kohli as a ‘magnificent player’ while also adding that he will bounce back in the upcoming home series against South Africa starting on March 12, Thursday at HPCA Stadium, Dharamshala.
