Ashish Nehra produced a brilliant bowling performance as his team Sunrisers Hyderabad thrashed Mumbai Indians by 85 runs.
Ashish Nehra took 3 wickets for only 15 runs in his 3 overs which helped Sunrisers Hyderabad dismiss Mumbai Indians for a paltry score of 98.
The brilliant performance helped Nehra to bag the man of the match award. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s mentor and Nehra’s former Indian team-mate VVS Laxman took to twitter to reveal Nehra’s pre-match preparation for this match. The funny tweet posted by Laxman shows Nehra taking a nap on a  chair with his goggles on.

The tweet read “Pre match preparation of Nehra Ji before his match winning performance against MI”.

 

Batting first Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a good total of 177 runs in their 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan scored a brilliant 82 while David Warner and Yuvraj Singh also made some useful contribution with the bat.
Chasing the target, Mumbai Indians kept on loosing wickets on regular intervals and were dismissed for only 98 to give Hyderabad their sixth win in nine matches.
The win helped Sunrisers to get to the top of the table. The win will also give them a lot of confidence to do well in the remaining matches of the tournament.
