Australian attacking opener David Warner promised for no mercy to the West Indies team in the upcoming Test series. The 3-Test series will start from 10th December at Hobart.

The West Indies Test team is not good enough. They are struggling continuously in the longest-format as well as current limited-over cricket due to inexperience.

At present, West Indies are no.8 in the rankings. They last won a Test match against Australia in Australia in 1997 and won a series at Australia in 1992-92.

But Warner is looking in no mood to give a minimum space to them. He said,“We have to come out and execute our skills as well as we can. As a batting unit we know they are going to come real hard in the first session.”

“They did that when we were in the West Indies, they got early wickets against us. We had to play the sensible game of playing straight but that was for the conditions over there.”

“Conditions here are a little bit in favour of the batsmen you can actually play your shots.”

However, Warner’s performance against West Indies in Test is not good enough. His average against West Indies in Test cricket is just 26.90 in five Test with no centuries.

In this year’s West Indies tour, he scored just 98 runs in two Tests including 62 runs in an innings.

Currently, Warner is in a impressive form where he grabbed man-of-the-series award in the recently concluded Test series against New Zealand. He scored 592 runs with the average of 98.66 in the three Tests.

He told about Taylor and Kemar Roach, “It will be interesting to see what lengths they bowl.”“I know Jerome Taylor likes to bowl it full because he likes to swing the ball. A high percentage of his wickets are caught behind that’s something we have to take notice of.”

He added, “And Kemar Roach is a very good bowler, he swings them away, sort of angles it into the right-handers. We will have to be on top of our game.”
