The other two spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Shahbaz Ahmed stressed on communication with skipper Virat Kohli. Washington Sundar also said that all the training wickets have been slow so spinners can expect to perform well when the tournament gets underway.
The IPL 2020 is slated to be played from September 19 and conclude on November 10 across three venues (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah) in the UAE. For the first time, the final will be on a weekday while there are 10 doubleheaders when the evening matches will start half an hour earlier.

Washington Sundar Expect Pitches To Be Slow While Shahbaz Ahmed And Yuzvendra Chahal Takes Advice From Skipper Kohli
Washington Sundar has played in 21 IPL matches where he has picked up 16 wickets and scored 75 runs.
“I think things are going very well and we have been getting pitches where we can get some assistance for spinners. We can expect this in the games as well when the tournament starts.” Sundar said in a video posted on the official Twitter handle of RCB.
Apart from Washington Sundar, RCB spinners Shahbaz Ahmed and Yuzvendra Chahal talked about the importance of communicating with the skipper Virat Kohli who is always there clarifying regarding the line and length to bowl on a particular wicket.
“The wickets are slow here, the ball is not coming on to the bat, I have been discussing this with Virat Bhai as to what line and length I can bowl on these wickets.” Shahbaz Ahmed said.
“Virat Bhai told me to bowl a little quicker as these wickets are really slow,” said Chahal.

RCB has managed to reach the finals of the tournament thrice but still seek to win their maiden trophy. Yuzvendra Chahal played 84 matches in IPL picking up exactly 100 wickets averaging only 23.18, while Bengal spinner Shahbaz Ahmed is a newcomer in RCB squad and is yet to play IPL.
BCCI Confirms That 13 Personnel Including 2 Players Tested Positive
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that 13 personnel including two players tested positive for COVID-19 and are being monitored by the IPL medical team by isolating them.
“13 personnel have tested positive of which 2 are players. All the affected personnel as well as their close contacts have been isolated from other team members. They are being monitored by the IPL Medical Team,” the BCCI had said in an official release.

All players and team personnel are required to undergo a six-day quarantine period after landing in the UAE and everyone needs to be tested for COVID-19 thrice and can start training only if found negative.
It was later learnt that Chennai Super Kings was being hit by the corona-virus as two of their players Deepak Chahar and Rituraj Gaekwad had tested positive along with other staff members.
