Watch: Indian Cricketers About The New ODI Kits
After Nike revealed the new ODI jersey of Indian national cricket team, the Indian cricketers spoke about the new jersey.
Just one day ahead from the opening ODI of the home ODI series against Australia, Nike launched the new Indian ODI jersey. Among the men’s cricketers, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Ajinkya Rahane and Prithvi Shaw were present in that launch. Meanwhile, Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues also attended in that event by representing the national women’s team.
On Saturday (2 March), India and Australia have started to play the five-match ODI series. From the opening ODI of the series, India has come out with the new ODI jersey. Moreover, the Indian cricketers will carry on this new jersey in the upcoming World Cup.
After the launch of the new jersey, the Indian cricketers had the photo shoot wearing the new jersey. Some Indian cricketers later spoke about the speciality of the latest ODI kit. Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah introduced this special kit.
The deep blue is on the front side of the jersey while the light blue is on the back side of the jersey. The Indian players have called that it is the very light and smooth jersey that helps to be agile on the field.
However, the special attention is on the inner portion of the back side. India’s two Cricket World Cup victories and one World T20 victory have been printed on that side.

Indian cricketers are ready to play the World Cup with the new jersey
England and Wales will host the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup from 30 May to 14 July. It will be the 12th World Cup edition where ten teams will participate, including India. India will begin their World Cup journey on 5 June against South Africa at Southampton.
Many experts believe that India is a favourite in the upcoming World Cup tournament. Currently, India is the second-ranked ODI team who are in great form.
