While IPL 2019 is just one month away to begin, Mumbai Indians (MI) pacer Jasprit Bumrah has challenged his national team skipper Virat Kohli, who is the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
The whole country will be soon under the IPL fever as the IPL 2019 will begin on 23 March. Recently, the governing body has announced the schedule of the first two weeks of the tournament. So, every team is getting ready for the upcoming franchise tournament.
Currently, the Indian national cricketers are busy in the international cricket assignment. India is set to play the two-match T20I and five-match ODI series at home against Australia from 24 February to 13 March. After completion of this series, every Indian cricketer will be busy for the new IPL season. Many Indian cricketers will be not more on-field friends during the upcoming IPL season, just like Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli.

The 25-year-old pacer Jasprit Bumrah will represent Mumbai Indians, and the 30-year-old Virat Kohli will lead RCB. While the IPL 2019 is just one month away, the present IPL broadcasting channel Star Sports has uploaded a rivalry video. In this video, the Indian pacer has directly challenged his national team’s skipper.
Jasprit Bumrah said in that video, “World ka best bowler? Nehi yaar. Abhi toh world ke best batsman ke dande udana baaki he. Aa raha hu Cheeku bhaiya aur iss baar, aap meri team mein bhi nahin rahenge. (World’s best bowler? Not yet. I still have to dismiss the best batsman in the world. Virat Kohli, I am coming, and this time I an not even part of your team.)”

At present, Virat Kohli is the no.1-ranked Test and ODI batsman. Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah is the no.1-ranked ODI bowler. In the upcoming IPL season, RCB and MI will meet for the first time on 28 March at Bengaluru.
Rishabh Pant has a similar challenge to MS Dhoni
Earlier on the same day, Rishabh Pant has revealed a similar challenging video for MS Dhoni. The young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is a crucial cricketer for Delhi Capitals (DC). In the meantime, MS Dhoni is the irreversible captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
In that video, the DC cricketer has warned the CSK skipper that he will not spare against their players.
