Indian opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan has come out with a special message for the martyred soldiers in the Pulwama terrorist attack.
The Pulwama terrorist attack happened on last Thursday (14 February). A suicide bomber attacked with an explosive-laden vehicle into a CRPF bus in Pulwama district (Jammu and Kashmir). More than 40 soldiers have lost their lives, and many are critically injured. The Pakistan-based terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed carried out that attack.
The whole world has condemned that dastardly and cowardly incident. The entire Indian cricket family have also cried out over that incident and came out to support the Indian soldiers. Virat Kohli and Sanjiv Goenka initiated the second edition of Indian Sports Honours (ISH) has been postponed.
Now, Shikhar Dhawan has come with a special and important message for all. On Sunday (17 February), he posted a video on his official social media accounts where he went with a request to every Indian.
The Indian opener said in that video that he would donate money to the martyr families and would try to help the families as much as possible. He also requested to everyone to come and support those families in these tough moments.

Shikhar Dhawan’s brief international career
The 33-year-old Shikhar Dhawan is an essential member of the present Indian national cricket team. Since his international debut in 2010, the left-handed batsman has gradually improved himself to become the regular cricketer for the national team. At present, he is one of the successful Indian cricketers.
Shikhar Dhawan has played 34 Tests, 123 ODIs and 49 T20Is where he has scored 2,315 runs, 5,178 runs and 1,296 runs respectively. He has played some significant roles for India’s recent success in international cricket.
One of his greatest successes was finishing as the leading run-scorer in both 2013 and 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. India won the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy while they finished as the runner-up in 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. Shikhar Dhawan won the Player of the Series award in 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.
