South Africa team were not in a jolliest of mood after their captain Faf du Plessis was charged for ball tampering during the second test at Hobart, which the Proteas won comfortably against Australia and also sealed the series 2-0.
However, du Plessis continues to hit the headlines as the security guard of the team, on Monday, shoved a reporter, who was trying to question South Africa’s stand-in skipper.
Despite the allegations, du Plessis is set to play the third test at Adelaide as his legal representatives are yet to land in Australia. This would lead to a delay in an investigation which would see him play the day-night test.
On Monday, Faf du Plessis has landed in Adelaide airport and Nine Network reporter Will Crouch was trying to question about the mint controversy regarding the ball tampering.
However, Zunaid Wade, who looks after the Proteas’ security has attempted to shield the skipper from Will Crouch as he shoved the reporter against the glass door when he approached too close to du Plessis.

Earlier Hashim Amla along with the entire South African team has come in support of their skipper quoting that they feel that the charges are an absolute joke.
“The reason everyone is here is to stand together, really, and to show solidarity to something … we thought was actually a joke,” Amla had quoted.
“It’s not April, but the allegation against Faf was … a really ridiculous thing. As a team, we’re standing strong, we’ve done nothing wrong. It’s basically a joke,” he had
