While expressing his delight, Sarwan added that the Windies Director of Cricket Jimmy Adams gave him a call to assist the Caribbean team. Sarwan is keen to impart the knowledge to the youngsters.

“I know our batsmen have struggled in the past with rotating the strike. So, I am trying to see how best we can get them to improve in this area. It’s not an overnight fix. But it’s important to share ideas with them, so that they have something to build on,” Sarwan added.
Furthermore, Reifer stated Sarwan himself had been an outstanding batsman. And particularly in finishing the games for his national team in the 50-over format. He is hopeful that Sarwan’s wealth of knowledge will boost the batsmen.
“We are hoping he can help the batsmen get a better understanding of how to finish games. Also, the mindset, and how to approach batting first, how to approach batting last. So, we thought that kind of knowledge was very important to share,” Reifer stated.
