Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh feels that the Indian team culture has changed now as they had some behavioural restrictions during his international career. Yuvraj also believes that Hardik Pandya-KL Rahul controversy couldn’t happen in their time.
Yuvraj Singh recently demanded more respect from the junior cricketers to the senior players. Now, the legendary Indian all-rounder opened up the behavioural culture in the Indian team. While Yuvraj served the Indian national cricket team for a long time, between 2000 and 2017, he believes that the present Indian players don’t follow certain behaviour rules which he and his teammates maintained. Talking about this, Yuvraj pointed out the talking culture to people and media.

During a recent Instagram live session, Yuvraj told the Indian opener Rohit Sharma, “There was a certain behaviour that we boys had to carry, how they talk to people, how they talk to media. Because they were the ambassadors of the game and India. But it is not the same anymore.”
Yuvraj Singh had a fear of the senior cricketers
Yuvraj claimed that they had a fear of the top cricketers during their international career and that’s why they couldn’t even think to discuss the party scenes.

Yuvraj added, “I think juniors, because of social media, party scenes, these things, we could not even think about that in our time. Because we had that fear that if we do some mistake our senior will tell us that do not do this, this is not right.”
In early 2019, Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul entered to the significant controversies for loose talking during a popular Indian talk show “Koffee with Karan”. Some of their comments were tagged as the sexist comments which put them into the massive trouble. Both of them were massively criticised and trolled for their feedback in that show. Both the cricketers were suspended for some days. Later, they apologised for their comments.

Yuvraj feels, “That incident could not have happened in our time.”
Now, both Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul are the important members of the Indian national cricket team. While Pandya is focusing on returning to the cricket after recovering from the injury which forced him to undergo surgery, Rahul is successfully playing the wicketkeeper-batsman role in the limited-overs sides.
