Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has entered into the deep trouble as a police complaint has been filed for his recent controversial remark on the Indian wrist spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, which has been tagged as casteist.
In the present lockdown period, the 38-year-old Yuvraj Singh is connecting with the fans and fellow cricketers through social media. Recently, during a live Instagram chat with Mumbai Indians captain and Indian limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj called Yuzvendra Chahal “bhangi”. The quoted word has been remarked casteist.
During that chat, Yuvraj jokingly commented on Chahal’s Tik Tok video, “Yeh bhangi log ko kaam nahi hai yeh Yuzi aur isko (Kuldeep).”
After that comment, Yuvraj has faced many criticisms on social media platforms. Some of them were demanding an apology from the former Indian all-rounder as even the hashtag named “युवराज_सिंह_माफी_मांगो” was trending on Twitter.

According to the recent Zee News report, some Dalit rights activists in Haryana and advocate Rajat Kalsan have lodged a police complaint against Yuvraj in Hansi (Hisar, Haryana). The advocate has also demanded the arrest of Yuvraj.
