Yuvraj Singh revealed the hot-headed exchange with Flintoff before six sixes

Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh revealed the hot-headed exchange between him and England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff which made him angrier and propelled him to hit six sixes. However, Yuvraj had hit six sixes in an over of England pacer Stuart Broad just after that incident.

Just before hitting six sixes, there was a heated exchange of words between the left-handed batsman and the England all-rounder. The moment was so heated that umpires had to step in to control the situation.

In the “Simi Selects India’s Most Desirable” talk show which was hosted by Indian actress Simi Garewal and aired on Star World India, Yuvraj Singh revealed that incident. That show was telecasted on 28th August 2011 which was the 12th episode of that talk show.

When Simi asked about that incident between him and Flintoff, Yuvraj revealed that Flintoff told him before the 19th over, “Those were ****** ridiculous shots.” Flintoff said that after conceding two back to back boundaries at the 18th over.

Yuvraj continued, “I (Yuvraj) said **** you. Then he said, excuse me. I said you heard what I said. And he said I will cut your throat off. I said you see this bat in my hand. You know where I gonna hit you with this bat?”

Yuvraj also revealed his mental feeling at that moment. He said, “It got me really worked up. I was really angry and I just wanted to hit every ball out of the ground, just give it back. Sometimes, it’s good for you. Sometimes, it backfires. But on that day I think it backfired them.”

In the 19th over, Stuart Broad came to bowl against Yuvraj Singh who smashed the English pacer for six sixes in that over. It was an unforgettable moment in cricket.
