Team India all-rounder Shivam Dube has failed to fill the space of Hardik Pandya. As Hardik is recovering from the injury, the tall and lanky Dube is being tested in the shortest format. However, Dube has been unsuccessful in creating an impact on the team. Also, he is always under scanner because of his degrading performance with bat and ball. While former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh feels that the youngster needs time to give consistent performances.
Yuvraj Singh hopeful of Shivam Dube having a bright future:
The sixer king feels Dube is a talented cricketer and should be given ample time to play his natural game in the international arena.
Well, Yuvraj believes that Pandya will take time to recover from the injury and it cannot be expected from Pandya to start performing from the get-go.

“Shivam Dube I think is a good talent, but you have to give him time,” Yuvraj was quoted as saying by Sports360. “Hardik is coming back from a back injury, and bowling fast after a back injury is going to be tough. So I don’t know how Hardik will turn out.”
“Looking at Dube, you have to give the guy a bit of time and we will see in the future who comes out with the consistent performances.”
Shivam Dube bowls second most expensive over in T20Is:

Hardik Pandya hasn’t featured with the team after the South Africa series at home. He resurfaced with an old injury after which he underwent back surgery. Since then, he is under the rehabilitation period and hasn’t recovered yet.
Meanwhile, Dube has got constant chances in the T20s. In 13 T20Is, he has scored just 105 runs. Dube’s highest score is 54 runs in the shortest format.
With the ball, he has picked five wickets at an economy rate of 10.04. Against New Zealand, he bowled the second most expensive spell of T20Is, giving away 34 runs in an over.
