In the upcoming T20I and ODI series against West Indies, the duo Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal are back together. Wrist spinners have always been a danger for the West Indies so KulCha can prove to be lethal bowlers against the visitors.
After February this year, Yuzvendra Chahal got the T20I opportunity against Bangladesh in last November. In that three-match T20I series, he picked four wickets of Bangladesh players. Rohit Sharma, the captain in Bangladesh T20I series, as Virat Kohli was given rest, used the spinner in the correct way to pick up the wickets of the Tigers. He has been always a crucial bowler for the Indian team. Also, he proved that to drop him from the T20I side was a wrong decision by the team management and selectors.

Chahal has also now earned the place in the T20I and ODI squads against the Caribbean side in the upcoming home series. This time he will play under the guidance of regular skipper Virat Kohli. On 6th December, India will play the first T20I match against West Indies in Hyderabad.
The thinking is the same – Yuzvendra Chahal about the captaincy difference between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma
Yuzvendra Chahal was asked by Sports Star what is the difference he feels between the captaincy of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. He believes that both the captains have almost similar approaches in the field. They both give freedom to the bowlers to experiment with the bowling, Chahal said. He can pick up only one difference which we have also noticed as the audience. The leg-spinner has claimed that Virat Kohli is more aggressive while Rohit Sharma is not the same nature.

“They have a similar approach. Both of them give enough liberty to the bowlers. They back the bowlers to the hilt and give them the field placements they require, so there is not much of a difference. Maybe Virat is a bit more aggressive, Rohit isn’t. The thinking is the same — give the players the liberty and win matches for the team. They have always given me the opportunity to play freely, without thinking about anything else. That has always been helpful,” Chahal told Sportstar.
