IPL 2020: It Seemed Like Yuzvendra Chahal’s Body Double Was Playing – Virender Sehwag On RCB’s Defeat Against DC

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag opined that Royal Challengers Banglaore’s premier bowler Yuzvendra Chahal was playing with a double body against Delhi Capitals after he failed to pick a wicket while being expensive.
While reviewing the performance of RCB against DC on his Facebook page, he observed that there were many areas where Virat Kohli’s led side had problems. But the significant one was Yuzvendra Chahal having a bad day. He labelled the spinner as the Lanky Bodyguard and stated that he was truly ineffective. Apart from bowling, Chahal had also dropped the catch of Marcus Stoinis, who went on to score a fifty.
“Another problem for Bangalore was that yesterday the Lanky Bodyguard was truly ineffective. First Shaw and Dhawan thrashed him. Then when he was guarding the boundary, he could not catch the slog played by Agent Stoinis,” Sehwag added.

Virender Sehwag even joked that it seemed the wily leg-spinner had not turned up on the field for RCB and that his duplicate had taken his place instead. Yauzvendra Chahal bowled three overs and leaked 29 runs. This was the first game that he didn’t pick a wicket for RCB in the IPL 2020.
“So, overall it seemed that it was Bodyguard Chahal’s body double who had come onto the field, the Lanky Bodyguard was not seen. After Agent Stoinis’ successful operation, Delhi reached 195,” sehwag added.
With the help of Marcus Stoinis’s unbeaten 53, Delhi Capitals set a 197 runs target. In reply, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s wicket fall like a heap of card, expect captain Virat Kohli. The openers Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal could not set up partnership while RCB’s batting mainstay AB de Villiers also lost his wicket cheaply. Virat Kohli scored 43 runs before losing his wicket. Finally, the Royals failed to chase down the target as DC won the match by 59 runs.
