Arsenal Given Quadruple Injury Boost Ahead Of North London Derby 1

Arsenal were handed a major injury boost ahead of tough North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

The Gunners were forced to make changes to their squad in their away trip to Ludogorets where they managed a nerve racking 3-2 win against Bulgarian champions making a comeback after being down to 2-0.

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla who has been sidelined for the last four games is all set to return to action as he has achieved match fitness. While Hector Bellerin who was ruled out of Champions League game against Ludogorets is also set to make a return to the squad.

Forward Walcott and left-back Monreal who were sidelined in their last two games with thigh and hamstring injuries respectively are also expected to return to the first team for the crucial derby fixture.

The Gunners will go into the game as favorites despite the impressive form of Tottenham Hotspur. Arsene Wenger men has been in impressive form as they are looking to be the side that could clinch the Premier League title. Arsenal remain unbeaten after their season opener against Liverpool across all competitions.

They have won 12 matches and managed 3 draws in their last 15 fixtures across all competitions while Tottenham have been the unbeaten side in the Premier League this season so far. The match is expected to be the battle of tactical geniuses in the names of Arsene Wenger and Mauricio Pochettino.

Arsenal would be keen to put an end to the unbeaten streak as they are willing to keep guard of their own record of going unbeaten for the entire season in the invincible season in 2–3/04. Despite being the start of the season, the Gunners would like to end the unbeaten run of Spurs as that would ensure they are on course for greater challenges as they go along in the season.
