FA Community Shield is counted as the curtain raiser of English Premier League and we have seen a heated encounter between London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal yesterday where the Gunners came out as winners with 1-0 scoeline thanks Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s 24 minute header.

Arsenal’s only summer signing Petr Cech played his first official game for the Gunners against his former club Chelsea where he spent 11 memorable seasons lifting a number of trophies.

The Czech Republic international was greeted very well by Chelsea fans and they showed him a lot of respect.

But Former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas was not lucky like Cech to be greeted well by his former fans.

The whole Arsenal fanbase present at Wembley greeted their former captain with loud and clear boos.

The teams changed ends just prior to kick-off, which saw Cech have to run the length of the pitch to take his position between the sticks in front of 30,000 odd Chelsea supporters.

The 33-year-old need not have been concerned about the response he’d receive, with a warm round of applause there to greet him.
