Arsene Wenger seems to have withstood that storm of fans asking the club to sack him at the end of the last season.
He is now looking to shape his squad for the next season and is ready to pounce on some top class stars from Europe. And papers today reveal that the Gunners may be a step closer in their pursuit of German international Julian Draxler.
Draxler who had an impressive EUROs campaign is said to cost Arsenal around £52 million according to the Daily Mail and it is understood that Arsene Wenger may not be too far away from spending big, especially after missing out on two of his top transfer targets.
