Christian Benteke (Liverpool to Crystal Palace):
The Big Belgian’s move away from Liverpool, which looked more and more impending in the last few weeks seems to have taken a new twist.
Benteke will not get enough game time under Jurgen Klopp next season and it looked like Crystal Palace were ready to take advantage as they reportedly made a bid of around £32m for the striker.
However, recent reports from Express.co.uk have now revealed why a deal has not been done yet. It is claimed by Benteke’s agent Kismet Eris talking to Sky Sports that there was no truth to the Palace and that the Belgian is happy to fight for his place at Anfield.
This seems to be a story that might not end until the deadline day next month.
