Now that the international break is done and dusted, Premier League clubs will now turn their attention to the games this weekend.
London outfit Arsenal will restart their campaign with a game against the Saints on Saturday and they will be pretty confident after their win over Watford in the last game before the break.
The month of August was mixed for the Gunners as they lost to Liverpool to start their campaign and got just a point against Leicester City only to take all three against Watford.
It is not the ideal start to a club that is challenging for the title but they have some great positives to take for those games.
The likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, and Santi Cazorla have started the new season with a bang while Theo Walcott and Granit Xhaka showed signs of improvement.

But one player who deserves more accolades than he gets is French international Laurent Koscielny.
The 30-year old has been one of the most consistent defenders in Europe let alone the Premier League and was once again a great influence in the two games before the international break.

He missed the game against Liverpool giving come back late from international duty but has still been awarded the ‘Vitality Player of the Month’ award for the month of August for the Gunners.
His best performance came in his first game of the season at the King Power where he stood tall for most of the game to deny the Foxes any chances on goal as he managed to give his side a point from the game.
He was also a strong presence at the back in the Watford game thus edging away with the player of the month award for August for the club.
It is revealed that he won 35.6% of the votes that were cast as he was just above his defensive partner Rob Holding in the list.
Alexis Sanchez, the Chilean who made an instant impact in a striker’s role at the Vicarage Road was in the third place with 18.4% of the votes having scored a goal and picked up a couple of assists.
It will be interesting to see if the trio maintains their level of performances in months to come.
Who do you think was the player of the month for Arsenal for the month of August?
