Liverpool Football Club have announced squad numbers for their summer signings.
Brazilian playmaker Roberto Firmino arriving from 1899 Hoffenheim will wear number 11 at Anfield. The squad number was vacant last season. The last player to wear number 11 was Morocco winger Oussama Assaidi.
Newly arrived English rightback Nathaniel Clyne will wear number 2 which he also used to wear at Southampton.
Hungarian goalkeeper Adam Bogdan who arrived from Bolton Wanderers on a free transfer, has received kit number 34.
Young defender Joe Gomez who arrived from Middlesbrough will wear number 12 jersey at the Merseyside club.
Another player who is allocated a squad number is Belgian 20 year old striker Divock Origi who was signed by Liverpool one year ago and received jesey number 27 after finishing his loan spell at LOSC Lille.
Former Manchester City midfielder James Milner will wear number 7. He also used to wear the same number at Etihad which was confirmed earlier this month.
Striker Danny Ings arriving on free transfer from relegated side Burnley was confirmed wearing jersey number 28 also.
Liverpool kick started their pre season friendly yesterday beating Thai All Stars 4-0 with goals from Lazar Markovic, Mamadou Sakho, Adam Lallana and Divock Origi.
New signings apart from Firmino took part in the match and impressed the Liverpool fans with their display.
