Liverpool are in talks with PSG to sign Brazilian winger Lucas Moura who is also scouted by Arsenal and Manchester United.

As we edge closer to the January transfer window, rumour mills around the world are in overdrive and with Liverpool being a squad in transition under new boss Jurgen Klopp, they are expectedly connected to wild and exciting rumours regarding their transfer policies for the last two months.

With that being highlighted, the possibility of Lucas Moura joining fellow Brazilian attackers Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho in the Liverpool front three (behind the striker) is quite an exciting transfer rumour. According to the Daily Mirror, PSG have been contacted recently over the potential transfer.

The 23-year-old Brazilian is also heavily linked with Arsenal and Manchester United.

The report claims, Moura, with 3 goals and 19 assists, has fallen out of favour since Angel di Maria arrived from Manchester United, and the Brazilian attacker is interested in a potential move to the Premier League. The lightening quick pace is an advantage for the winger, something that would give Jurgen Klopp an added dimension.

Liverpool have enjoyed an excellent start to life under new boss Jurgen Klopp, but shock defeats to Newcastle and Crystal Palace raised questions that they need to improve in order to move on consistently in Premier League, apart from the Europa league challenge.

However, Liverpool will face a tough challenge as Lucas Moura looking at the current Arsenal team could feel he can successfully link up with Ozil and Sanchez to be one of the key players in Arsene Wenger’s title run and Wenger also needs more options because injury concern looms large throughout the campaign.

The Brazilian has also been linked with a possible move to Manchester United back in 2012, but PSG signed him for around £44m from Sao Paolo in 2013 and has gone on to play 128 matches for the French side. He was really a hot property in the transfer market before he left his country, and was eventually linked with big money moves to top European clubs. After their failed bid 3 years ago Manchester United are again looking to sign him as Louis van Gaal is desperate to add pace and creativity to his attacking force.

Now it could be the right time for the Brazilian to move on as he steps into the key years of his career demanding regular football each week.
