Manchester City have completed Raheem Sterling’s transfer from Liverpool for £49million. According to reports, Sterling has signed a long-term deal with City and will be earning a handsome £200k-a-week.

It was quite a transfer saga put to bed after the player called in sick to miss Liverpool’s training sessions, if that was not all he directly told Brendan Rodgers to allow him skip Liverpool’s pre-season tour and seal his move to Etihad Stadium.
Sterling has got his wish as he completed a £49million switch, which has made him the most expensive Englishmen footballer in history of the game.
Manchester City have started their much-awaited summer spending spree in order to force their way to being the Premier League’s best. Sterling’s £49million capture is expected to be followed by another £50millon signing of Belgian Kevin De Bruyne.
City have set sights on young stars, who could carry team’s mantel in years to come. Among the rumored targets sees the name of a former Manchester United player, Paul Pogba as well.
