Manchester United are set to be one of the busiest clubs in transfer window.

They spent close to £150m in the previous summer transfer window but failed to move into the top 4 of the points table.

However, they managed to get into the Champions League through the back door and are now intent on making some high-profile changes to their squad this summer.

Jose Mourinho has already added the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof to the squad this summer, which has already taken United’s spending close to what they did a year ago.

And reports today suggest that the manager is prepared to break the £200m mark before the start of the next season.

The Red Devils have been linked with some of the finest players in world football at the moment and two players who could be on their way to Old Trafford are Tottenham Hotspur star Eric Dier and Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic.

Dier not coming easily

The English midfielder has a serious role in the plans for Mauricio Pochettino for the Spurs but Eric Dier is reportedly interested in a move to Old Trafford this summer.

He is a boyhood Red Devils fan and with Manchester United actively searching for a midfielder, he believes that it is the right time for him to make a move.

However, he is contracted with the London outfit till 2021 and the Spurs are in no obligation to sell.

So the player might have to officially as to move on, as Manchester United are no ready to meet his valuation of £60m this summer.

United are ready to pay upto £40m for Dier this summer and Dier might have to hand in a transfer request if the Red Devils are to sign him at that price.

But Daniel Levy, the Spurs boss is a tough nut to crack, making this deal a mission.

Perisic moving closer

However, Croatian midfielder Ivan Perisic is closer than that to a move to Manchester as Mourinho is desperate for him to join the squad before the start of the pre-season.
