Gerard Pique (Barcelona):
Barcelona’s defensive wall, Pique, is Ramos’ partner for Spain and a rival at Barcelona and has gone head to head this year in various competitions. Pique, a genuine ball playing defender with superb all round game at his disposal, has helped Barcelona in more than one way. He is one of the most efficient defenders at the back and has been superb this year helping the Catalan giants to yet another La Lig title in May.
He also helps the side add some attacking threat when needed and is a player that can walk into any European side at the moment. At 29, he has gathered a lots of experience and showed his seniority throughout the year to stand as one of the best in his position.
