Phillip Cocu praised the upcoming coaching staff
On the other hand, the Derby County manager Phillip Cocu also praised Rooney. Cocu believes that Rooney still can give many things.
He claimed, “Wayne Rooney is an extremely talented and top-class footballer. He has enjoyed a wonderful career, both in club football and for England, and he still has so much to give as well.”
On Monday (5th August), Derby County has begun their new EFL Championship season with a 2-1 away victory against the recently Premier League relegated side Huddersfield Town.
