Team Extreme became a famous faction in the WWF leading to a romantically involved relationship. Lita chose Matt Hardy to be her life partner during the team’s heyday in the WWE. These two shared a passionate smooch on the February 19th, 2001 episode of Raw. Previously, we thought that it was just a storyline until they revealed their commitment to each other. They continued their relationship for the next four years through ups and downs until Lita moved on to Edge.

4. Lita cheated on Matt Hardy when he was injured
The love triangle between Edge, Lita and Matt Hardy is still the most controversial angle in pro-wrestling history. All three of them were good friends which is the reason Matt Hardy wanted Edge to take care of Lita during his injury span. They intentionally started dating hurting feelings of Matt Hardy. Things became more intense as Lita was in an on-screen relationship with Kane at that point. So all hell broke out loose when Matt Hardy returned to the scene after the doctors cleared him.
