Bayern Munich 3 (Robert Lewandowski 12′ PEN; Thiago Alcantara 65’; Joshua Kimmich 90′) – Anderlecht 0

Bayern Munich started their new UCL season with a 3-0 victory against 10-man Anderlecht.

In the early minute (11’), visitors Anderlecht went down to 10-man after Sven Kums was shown a direct red card who unlawfully hold down Lewandowski inside the penalty box. It resulted in a penalty for the hosts Bayern from which they made 1-0 scoreline as Lewandowski finished that calmly.

On 65 minutes, Thiago Alcantara made the scoreline 2-0 after perfectly finished from Joshua Kimmich’s cross. Kimmich added another goal on 90 minutes as Bayern won the match by a 3-0 margin.

 

 

Celtic 0 – Paris Saint-Germain 5 (Neymar 19′; Kylian Mbappe 34′; Edinson Cavani 40′ PEN & 85′; Mikael Lustig 83′ OG) 

PSG thrashed the Scottish hosts Celtic by 5-0.

Neymar opened the scoreline for PSG on 19 minutes which was extended by Kylian Mbappe on 34 minutes. On 40 minutes, PSG was awarded a penalty after Jozo Simunovic made a foul on Cavani inside the penalty box. Cavani did not miss that chance as he made the scoreline 3-0 with ease.

On 83 minutes, hosts’ defender Mikael Lustig scored an own goal after failing to clear a ball from Draxler’s cross. Two minutes later, Cavani scored his second goal through a header.
