France outplayed Honduras by 5-1 and qualified for the next round as a Group E champion with three victories. Honduras took an early 1-0 lead after Carlos Mejia netted on 10 minutes.
Just four minutes later, Wilson Isidor equalised the scoreline for France. Alexis Flips put France 2-1 ahead on 23 minutes who also scored the third goal for his team on 64 minutes.
Amine Gouiri made the scoreline 4-1 for France on 86 minutes. In the final injury minute (90’+6’), Yacine Adli scored from a direct free-kick as France won the match by the 5-1 margin.
In the meantime, Honduras also reached in Round of 16 after finishing in the third place of Group E with three points.
New Caledonia ended their first FIFA WC campaign with a draw

New Caledonia ended their first FIFA WC campaign with a 1-1 draw against Japan, who finished in the second place of Group E and entered in the Round of 16.
Japan got an early lead after Keito Nakamura successfully netted from the right side of the box. Despite playing dominating football, Japan failed to add more goals.
On 83 minutes, Jekob Jeno scored the equaliser goal for New Caledonia through a header from the resulting corner.

Group F
England overpowered Iraq by 4-0
England 4 (Angel Gomes 11′; Emile Smith-Rowe 57′; Danny Loader 59′ & 71′) – Iraq 0
England finished as a Group F champion after they overpowered Iraq by a 4-0 margin. Angel Gomes opened the scoreline for England on just 11 minutes from Nya Kirby’s cross.
On 24 minutes, England won a penalty after Iraq defender Mohammed Albaqer committed a foul on Emile Smith-Rowe inside the penalty box. However, Jadon Sancho failed to capitalise that as his shot was saved by opposing goalie (Ali Ibadi).
England extended their lead in the second half as Emile Smith-Rowe scored on 57 minutes while Danny Loader scored the next two goals on 59 minutes and 71 minutes respectively.
England and Iraq both have qualified for the Round of 16 after finishing in the first and second place respectively of Group F.
However, Iraq suffered a huge blow after their star forward Mohammad Dawood received a yellow card in this game which means he will miss the next game in Round of 16 due to receiving two yellow cards in this group stage.
Mexico edged out to qualify for the next round after a goalless draw against Chile

Mexico just edged out to qualify for the Round of 16 after resulting a goalless draw against Chile, who must have won the game to qualify for the next round.
Mexico dominated in the whole game but failed to score. They had the best chance in the first injury minute after the 90-minute mark when Roberto de la Rosa had an open chance, but his shot hit the post.
Meanwhile, Chile almost snatched the match in the very last shot of the game when William Gama had a chance, but at the end, he failed to make on target.
With this draw, Mexico qualified for the Round of 16 as they finished in third place of Group F with just two points.
On the other hand, Chile earned only a point with this draw and ended this WC campaign after finishing in the fourth place of Group F.
