i) The Journey: Germany secured their place for the upcoming 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup after reaching the semi-finals of 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. However, they had suffered a defeat in the semi-final encounter against Spain by a penalty shoot-out [Spain 0 (4) – Germany 0 (2)].
ii) Head Coach: Christian Wuck (Nationality – Germany) is managing Germany’s different age levels youth teams since 2012. So, he has an excellent experience and knowledge of the youth players.
During the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, Germany was the dangerous side who had scored total 17 goals in 5 games and conceded only two goals. Wuck’s standard formation is the 4-2-3-1.

Elias Abouchabaka (Present Club – RB Leipzig U19)
Elias Abouchabaka is a talented attacking midfielder who plays on the left-wing. He had scored three goals along with two assists during the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. At the end of that European tournament, he was selected to the team of the tournament.
