i) The Journey: Costa Rica secured their place for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup after finishing in the fourth position in the classification stage (second in Group E) of 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship.

 

ii) Head Coach: Breansse Camacho (Nationality – Costa Rica) has taken charge of the team in 2016. During 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, Breansse had majorly followed the 4-4-2 formation.
