- Present Status (for 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup)
i) The Journey: Niger secured their spot for the upcoming 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup after reaching the semi-final of 2017 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations. In that continental competition, Niger had finished in the fourth place after losing the semi-final and the third-place match against Ghana and Guinea respectively.
ii) Head Coach: Under Ismaila Tiemoko (Nationality – Niger), the Niger U-17 football team have learnt a great fighting spirit which has led them to qualify for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
