The #SpeakingOut movement isn’t just about uncovering the hidden exploitations that some of the female wrestlers have experienced in the past. But it is bringing out things that wrestlers have said in the past. Sasha Banks is the latest one involved in the movement as a former indie scene wrestler and now All Elite Wrestling star commented inappropriately about her.
Sammy Guevara is the one accused in this new case as he said something about Sasha Banks when he was just 22 years old. The clip having his comments is out on the internet and the internet wrestling community is calling him out.
#SpeakingOut Movement: WWE Fires Superstar After Sexual Allegations
Guevara appeared as a guest on The Whole F’n Show podcast on January 25th, 2016. During his conversation on the podcast, he spoke about recently visiting the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. He was really mesmerized by Sasha Banks’ beauty. Instead of a decent way of expressing it, he took a mean way and ended up saying that he wanted to rape her.
Sasha Banks & Bayley Claim They’re Best WWE Tag Team In History
Re-uploading this so as not to give the guy that focused on his fucking tryout instead of the fact that Sammy Guevara says he wanted to r*pe Sasha Banks any fucking clout or credit when he stayed quiet on this for 4 and a half years.
This is fucking disgusting. pic.twitter.com/dbG7QWErXB— Bubba C Dubya II (@dubyacbub) June 22, 2020
The comments from Guevara in the clip as revealed by ringsidenews.com stated the following,
“Bro Sasha Banks, oh my god. When I was at WWE the other week I just wanted to go f*cking rape that woman.” (courtesy ringsidenews.com)
Guevara also stated that he wasn’t in the WWE for a tryout, at that point but appeared as an extra. WWE often calls local performers during their visit in town to fill up roles of extras like security guards, police, medical staff, or other such small background parts. Apparently he found Sasha Banks too attractive who just started to get involved in the Raw Women’s Championship picture.
This isn’t the only #SpeakingOut story about Sammy Guevara as Brandi Rhodes shared her experience about the now AEW superstar. He tried to hit on her while he was at a WWE tryout during her days in the company. Brandi was already married to Cody Rhodes at that time. Guevara later claimed that he didn’t know these two were married. They’ve since teased the story on AEW Dynamite.
Guevara dropped a tweet to apologize to Sasha Banks for making inappropriate comments on her,
“I’ve made stupid, inappropriate and extremely offensive comments in my past. In my idiotic mind, I thought I was being funny in using words and terms that represent nothing but horror and pain. I am truly sorry for my hurtful words and actions, and I will never forgive myself.”
“I also want to apologize to @sashabankswwe for my unacceptable comments. She’s an amazing person who didn’t deserve to be the brunt of my offensive remarks. I spoke with her earlier & she helped me learn a gigantic lesson & I thank her for that. Once again, I’m sincerely sorry.”

Meanwhile the former Women’s Champion has also responded to Guevara’s apologies with the following tweet.

While Guevara is a talent on the AEW roster, Cody and Brandi Rhodes are management people, out there. As for Sasha Banks, it’s not something new that someone found her immensely attractive. She has millions of fans all over the world and one of them recently threatened her husband for marrying her. She’s The Legit Boss for a reason who’s now enjoying her second run with the Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Bayley.
