As reported earlier, a huge return was in-store on last night’s episode of WWE RAW. AJ Styles made his presence felt on the show who will now be heading to WWE Money In the Bank for the Men’s MITB Ladder Match.

He won the scheduled match coming out in a surprising capacity to qualify for the opportunistic contest waiting this Sunday night.

The Money In The Bank go-home edition of WWE RAW witnessed AJ Styles making his return to win the Last Chance Gauntlet Match. It was held to determine Apollo Crews’ replacement for the MITB ladder match since he was removed due to an injury. He competed in a United States Championship match against Andrade to suffer a storyline knee injury at the hands of the Champion, last week.

AJ Styles defeated Humberto Carrillo in the Gauntlet via his Calf Crusher submission move following his surprise appearance to capture the final spot available. The other participants in the Gauntlet Match on WWE RAW were Bobby Lashley, Titus O’Neil, Akira Tozawa, Shelton Benjamin, Humberto Carrillo, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory.

This was the first appearance of AJ Styles since coming up short at the Boneyard Match against The Undertaker during Night One of WrestleMania 36 in early April. The other opponents of Money In The Bank ladder match will be Rey Mysterio, Aleister Black, Daniel Bryan, King Corbin, and Otis.

As you can see, three superstars from WWE Raw and three from SmackDown are slated to compete in this gimmick-based match.

2020 WWE Money In the Bank pay-per-view will air live on May 10 on the WWE Network. But at least some of the contents will be airing on tape delay from WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. The two main attraction ladder matches will take place at the HQ.
