The wrestling world has changed quite drastically since the beginning of 2019. All Elite Wrestling unveiled their TV show on TNT network throwing the biggest challenge to the WWE. This is the reason why some of the superstars wanted to jump ship to the new promotion when their contract comes to an end. But one of the trusted shoulders, AJ styles will not even think so.

The current United States Champion AJ Styles has recently noted on concluding his career in a big way and he can’t think of a better option than WWE while doing so. He expressed his desire to go into the dawn during career’s sunset after his current WWE tenure ends. He signed a 5-year deal with the company, earlier this year that will be intact within 2024.

AJ Styles along with his OC partners Gallows and Anderson was a guest on Lilian Garcia’s Chasing Glory podcast. While discussing his career, the Phenomenal one confirmed that his current WWE contract is his last. There were rumors of whether he would go for a full-time deal in his 40-plus age. But WWE convinced him signing the deal.

Here’s more on his future in his own words,

“I had no doubt that you know this is what I was going to do for my career. It really was. And you couldn’t have told me any different. And I can tell you that the contract that I signed, here in WWE, is my last. This is it for me. This is where I’m going to end my career no matter what happens. I got to, you know? I want to be there for my kids.”

AJ Styles is unarguably the best in-ring technician that WWE has to offer, at this point. Many consider him as the true successor of the greatest of all-time, Shawn Michaels who was yet to perform in WWE before 2016. Many thought the day would never come until he signed a three-year deal along with the Club members, Gallows and Anderson to arrive on Raw.

Since then, WWE has used AJ Styles as a marquee attraction, all the way. His performance has always remained to the top-tier making him the absolute best of the roster. He performed in some incredible matches with the likes of John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and more. Plus, a solid 371-day WWE title reign also belongs to his resume.
