That could have been it until The Man commented on the post fuelling up the chances of seeing a mouth-watering bout shortly. Although there have not been any confirmations in this regard.

Becky Lynch retweeted Stephanie McMahon’s promoted tweets with a short comment attached to it. She could not find a better opportunity to state, “Any more thoughts on you fighting me in front of lots of people?” We still don’t know whether McMahon is game for this contest that fans also anticipated to see for a long time. As per her reply, she might not be ready to be back to action.

As per the earlier reports, WWE was planning on building Stephanie McMahon vs Becky Lynch. The way Wrestlemania main event storyline started, it looked like we’ll have a time when the match could likely go down. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter later noted that “Becky Lynch vs. Stephanie McMahon at Summer Slam was suggested and a second company source has said it is being talked about.”
However, that did not turn out to be the case as Stephanie McMahon was absent from WWE programming ever since Wrestlemania 35 passed by. She took an extended hiatus from the flagship program of the company whereas Becky Lynch was running things around here. There’s no confirmed update on whether the match could finally happen in the future.
For now, Becky Lynch has entered an interesting rivalry against Sasha Banks that will culminate a match at Clash Of Champions PPV. The WWE RAW Women’s Championship will be on the line when these two former four-horsewomen members collide inside the squared circle. Becky’s title reign would be jeopardy considering that Sasha has formed a heel alliance with Bayley.
