Fans at the Madison Square Garden received a mega treat when WWE’s four-horsewomen squared off in a tag team match for the first time. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch teamed up with Charlotte Flair against Sasha Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in it that forced the fans to chant ‘this is awesome’ throughout the contest. Becky went for seeking early retribution against Banks by unloading on her. But Bayley and Banks double-teamed on her to take control of the match.
Charlotte Flair received the tag and brought back momentums on behalf of her team with some offensive moves. Sasha Banks tried to counter with her pendant Banks Statement which Flair countered into the Figure Eight leglock. Bayley and Becky started brawling after which Bayley attempted the top rope elbow. She missed it and ran into a Natural Selection from Charlotte Flair to digest the loss. Thus Flair gained some advantage before heading into Clash of Champions.
The scenario in WWE’s women’s division has been very much interesting for the past few weeks. Following Summerslam, the champion Becky Lynch received a proper opponent who could match up to her strong status. Sasha Banks is the concerned name who returned after the big-four pay-per-view event leaving her original babyface gimmick and donning a new heel avatar.

We have never seen such a sadistic side of The Boss that helped her to steal the spotlight on WWE Raw. Natalya and Becky Lynch fell victim on her hand on consecutive occasions. Another twist was waiting for us when her best-friend Bayley also joined her, last week turning her back on the fans and go into a full-villainous mode. The dangerous heel alliance became a reality that set up the tag team match, this week, (courtesy WWE.com)
“After SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley helped Sasha Banks obliterate Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in separate attacks on Raw and SmackDown LIVE this past week, The Man and The Queen will form an unexpected alliance against the brutal best friends in an anticipated tag team match involving all of WWE’s Four Horsewomen.
With Lynch poised to defend her title against The Boss and Flair challenging Bayley for her championship next Sunday at WWE Clash of Champions, who will gain key momentum?”
It turned out to be the babyface team who gained momentums, as of now defeating the heel team.
