Becky Lynch is undoubtedly the most popular superstar of the current women’s roster who has risen to the occasion starting from 2018 summer. That led her to main-eventing Wrestlemania setting an all-time history.

She became the first woman to win the Raw and SmackDown women’s championships at the same time to create history. On the first anniversary of her becoming The Man, Lynch channeled her thoughts about this sudden rise.

Speaking to The Bump, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch mentioned that she believes another woman could have a similar rise like her. As per her, Sonya Deville is the one who could be the next star to take her career to new heights.

Who would love to man-handle The Man?

While speaking on the show, Becky Lynch stated that Sonya has the same tools to what it takes to create a breakthrough moment for her career just like she did, once. Connecting with the people is the key in order to do so, as per her. Here’s more from her, (courtesy sescoops.com)

“Yeah, look I don’t think anybody would’ve expected it to be me and I think that’s the great thing but anybody who can get a connection with the crowd because it’s all about the crowd,” Lynch said.

Becky Lynch noted on The Man’s first anniversary

“It’s the people that put you there, the people that put me there. And if they get that then I see some people that can do that. I think Sonya Deville is one to look out for.”

Speaking of Sonya Deville, she found herself on the SmackDown brand following the 2019 edition of WWE Draft alongside her tag team partner, Mandy Rose.

The woman has an MMA background athlete who appears to be the first one to sign with WWE. Also, she’s been quite open with her LGBTQ relationship status which makes her the first female WWE superstar who likes to date women. More on this would be available on Total Divas show in due course.

As for Becky Lynch, she has back to back title defenses against Sasha Banks in the two bygone PPV events. So, we guess, WWE would soon find a suitable next challenger for her heading into Survivor Series PPV.
