As soon as a New Year will begin in the WWE, unpredictable incidents keep on coming on our TV-screen. The creative heads always try to kick off things in a bigger way so as to give a boost to the Royal Rumble hypes.
As the 2020 edition approaches near, we can definitely expect a few surprising returns prior to the show or in the prestigious match itself set for January 26th.
According to the updates from Fightful.com, two women superstars are more than ready to make comebacks. Nia Jax and Ruby Riott are the two concerned names who are almost done recovering from their injuries. They are now expected to show up on WWE programming at Royal Rumble 2020 in the Women’s Royal Rumble match,
“Nia Jax is back at the WWE Performance Center preparing and training for a return. WWE’s internal list has her as 1/2020. Ruby Riott internally was listed on the same date.”
Nia Jax has been dubbed as the ‘irresistible force’ in the WWE who is out with an injury for almost six months. There’s been a void on the Raw Women’s Division due to her absence. However, the WWE audience could track down her status on the bygone season of Total Divas on the E Network.
As for Ruby Riott, she is out with Shoulder Injury for over almost nine months. Both of her shoulders had to undergo surgical processes and the healing process took really long time. Hopefully, her body is fully doing okay which could grow the strength of the Women’s roster around Royal Rumble.
Speaking of returns, another name from the men’s division was speculated. Lars Sullivan, the monstrous athlete was supposed to be back around Royal Rumble. But the source noted that he is going to miss about half of 2020 after missing almost the entire part of 2019,
“Despite Lars Sullivan being seen training, he’s nowhere near a return, we’re told. Internally, he’s been listed as June 2020 as a return date. We’ve also heard that his recovery was going slower than originally expected, as of a few months ago.”
