We have not seen WWE Superstar having Indian origin Jinder Mahal on TV for almost two months now. It’s unfortunate for the subcontinent fans that the only one from the main roster had to be absent for a pivotal reason. For those who don’t know, he is dealing with an injury which won’t be healing up quick and there’s no chance of seeing him back on TV in this year.

WWE News: Big Update On When We Would See Jinder Mahal Back In WWE
It was on June 15th that Jinder Mahal torn his leg muscle during a live event action against Ali. This needed emergency surgery which appeared to be successful. He posted a picture on Instagram showing the condition of his knee where the doctors performed the operation. The good news was that surgery was exceptionally successful.
WWE Superstar Roman Reigns Reveals How Long He Will Wrestle Full-Time
But yet the former WWE Champion will have to wait long before coming back to action. According to the reports from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE’s internal list of absentees states that Jinder Mahal will be returning from injury by the beginning of 2020. Sapp has also predicted that the date of his comeback might be January 1, 2020.
“Jinder Mahal’s patella injury has him listed as a “January 1″ return. He’d just signed a new five-year deal ahead of the injury. Previous reports had indicated a possible return at the end of the year.”
Sapp continued saying that WWE officials believe that some of the returning dates are not in the same line when the Superstars expect themselves to return. So the list of injured superstars may just be a guess their returning date giving a prediction. It may not become true considering the real storyline perspective during the end of 2019.
Jinder Mahal witnessed a meteoric rise in the WWE back in 2017. He was a pure jobber when he entered Smackdown Live through the Superstar Shakeup. Within a week, he won the number one contender’s spot for the WWE Championship. There was no looking back for him since this Jinder Mahal received a title match against Randy Orton.
The Modern-Day Maharaja then followed up with another big win against Randy Orton at Backlash. This brought tons of attention toward him from the global audience and especially the Indian audience. The title run continued for 150-plus days that was quite a significant win in the history of Smackdown Live. However, Jinder Mahal got lost in the mid-card title scene, since then. Hopefully, he will make a grand comeback and go back to the spotlight.
