The Royal Rumble weekend will roll through the state of Texas starting from this week’s SmackDown. The AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas will host the first WWE Raw episode following the first pay-per-view of the decade and announced some pretty big segment and matches to hype up the show. The arena has now announced a big eight-man tag team match for the main event of the night.

There could have been a mixed up in their tweet, as the official arena website previously announced a six-man tag team match with Rollins and AOP taking on Rey Mysterio, Joe, and Owens.

WWE Announces New Participants For Men And Women’s Royal Rumble

We have to wait until this upcoming Monday Night to see which of this lineup gets confirmed when WWE Raw airs. Most probably, Rey Mysterio would move into the main event feud now that he has failed to capture the United States Championship from Andrade.

Apart from this huge tag team action, WWE Raw might also host another huge singles contest which is a WrestleMania rematch from last year. The arena is currently also advertising Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles for Monday Night RAW.

These two are in the middle of the feud which has not ended and needs a proper culmination match, for sure. However, we’re yet to find out whether this will be a televised matchup or a dark main event match.

Apart from this, there will be appearances by WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, and The Queen, Charlotte Flair as they will probably start to gear up for the WrestleMania 36 season.

Meanwhile, WWE has now officially announced that Lana vs. Liv Morgan in a singles matchup will take place on Monday’s WWE RAW. Bobby Lashley and Rusev will be banned from ringside during this contest. Below is WWE’s full announcement regarding this matchup,

“In a match where both The Bulgarian Brute and The All Mighty will be banned from ringside, Liv and Lana will square off in singles action on Raw, bringing their simmering rivalry-within-a-rivalry to a boil. The match will mark Liv’s first singles competition in six months, as well as an opportunity for the pair to settle the score on their own unfinished business. Given the (still unelaborated) revelations from Lana’s wedding to Lashley, it’s clear these two have a lot to talk about — or, more likely, fight about — before all is said and done.”
