Following that, Vince McMahon asked all wrestlers and commentators to stop mentioning Reigns on TV. WWE has never mentioned The Big Dog for once since WrestleMania days.

It looks like the relationship between the two parties has become worse in recent times as he isn’t being featured in the WWE’S Make-A-Wish campaign, which is one of the biggest. The company has been carrying this out throughout several years.

Update: Relation Between WWE & Roman Reigns Deteriorated? 3

Wrestling Observer was the source to point out that Roman Reigns isn’t present in the latest Make-A-Wish video, that features all top superstars from the roster. He was always the center of attention of these campaigns after John Cena, being the new franchise figure of the WWE brand. It was also noted that WWE has also removed him from all banners on their website to replace him with John Cena.

During a recent interview with PWInsider, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose in WWE) shed light on this tough decision taken by his Shield brother, Roman Reigns. He showed full support to Reigns by stating the following,

“I mean, this is unprecedented times, man. This is crazy. I mean you hear about all these other eras and people went through the Great Depression and wars and all that stuff.

I mean, I grew up in the 90s so our generation has never had to deal with any kind of struggle, or tough choices, or anything like this to this degree. So it’s crazy that we’re actually living through something like this.

And I would not judge anybody’s decision about things they do. I think definitely in his situation, I think it was definitely the smart thing to do. And I’d support that decision 100%.

I think it was the right move.” (courtesy wwfoldschool.com)
