Reason Why WWE Brought AJ Styles Back On Raw, Earlier Than Expected
WWE Raw featured a countdown of top Money In the Bank match moments, over the years. The number one moment chosen by them was the WrestleMania 31 cash-in by Seth Rollins, which came during the main event match.
Roman Reigns challenged the then-WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar for the title. Seth Rollins ended up cashing in Money In The Bank briefcase, successfully to become the new WWE Champion.

It should be noted that despite Rollins cashing in on Brock Lesnar, it was Roman Reigns who got pinned in the match. But still, he was nowhere to be found in the video package.
WWE’s quick replay of the cash-in moment did not have any mention of The Big Dog, at all. This means one thing and that is, the top officials of the company including Vince McMahon isn’t happy with the franchise player of the company.

No reason was given behind this but as we’ve seen, Roman Reigns wasn’t mentioned on TV since backing out of the WrestleMania 36 main event due to concerns over coronavirus pandemic.

Triple H said the following about Roman Reigns pulling out of Wrestlemania 36 during an interview with ESPN SportsCenter,
“WWE, I think our talent, our staff, our crew -that probably now more than ever, entertainment for people is a necessity,” Triple H said (H/T to CagesideSeats). “And them having something that they can tune into, forget about everything that’s going on or what they have happening in their lives or not being able to leave their house, or whatever it is, and just tune out for a few hours, tune into something that’s just fantastical, and just forget about it all. And we feel not only the need to do that but sort of the obligation to do that for people.”
