First Sermon, No Holds Barred & More Announced For Next WWE Raw
Despite the returning Rusev on WWE Raw, the contract dispute between him and the WWE is not ending anytime soon, according to the reports of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Rusev’s deal issues are nowhere near to be settled as per the source. Here are some additional details on the former United States Champion,
“The Observer also reported that The Bulgarian Brute still has “plenty of time” left on his current WWE contract, but there’s no word yet on exactly when it will expire. Rusev’s wife Lana signed a new five-year contract back in November.” (As carried by wrestlingINC.com)
Top 5 Rumors You Need To Know About WWE Wrestlemania 36
Rusev is missing WWE Raw since the night after Royal Rumble. Later it was reported in early February that a contract dispute is a reason why WWE has kept Rusev away from the TV. No details are available though as to why the situation has worsened between the two parties.
The last time Rusev worked in a match on WWE RAW was on the January 20th episode where he and Liv Morgan lost to Lana and Bobby Lashley in a mixed tag team action. At that point, he was said to be unhappy with his spot in the company and planning to leave the brand, eventually.
He even has ‘soon to be free agent’ written on bio to indicate his position. It looks like he is still in a stale position in WWE despite being involved in a mouth-watering storyline for the past few months.
