Coronavirus Pandemic: Top 5 Plans WWE Had To Cancel In 2020 2

  1. First-Ever 3-Branded Superstar Shakeup

The WWE Superstar Shakeup became a trend following each year’s WrestleMania over the past three years. It started back in 2017 and continued until 2019. The fourth part was reportedly canceled due to the Coronavirus situation.

Tom Colohue reported in January that this year’s Superstar Shakeup would have been bigger from the previous ones as every wrestler on the WWE roster could’ve been involved. WWE only included wrestlers from RAW and SmackDown but this year the plan was to involve NXT, as well. WWE ended up not having it at all this year amid the unfortunate circumstances caused due to Coronavirus. There’s a chance that they can host the Draft in October.

As of now, WWE is just randomly trading wrestlers from NXT (Matt Riddle to SmackDown) or Raw (AJ Styles to SmackDown in return for a wrestler who’d be sent to RAW in the future).
