The eighth season of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will begin on Tuesday (18th August) with the match between three-time CPL winners Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) and last season’s runners-up Guyana Amazon Warriors (GUY) at Brian Lara Cricket Academy (Tarouba).
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, many overseas cricketers are unavailable for the CPL 2020. However, some overseas players are available for this entire tournament.
It will be the first time in the CPL history when we can see an Indian participating in this tournament. The 48-year-old leg-spinner Pravin Tambe is serving for the Trinbago Knight Riders, and he will be the first Indian to play in the CPL when he will come on the field for the first time during the CPL 2020.
