Unlike previous years, WWE has been able to stop WrestleMania match outcomes from getting leaked out via the wrestling sources. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the show of shows will be telecasted in a taped format instead of a live show. Several rumors have been going on regarding the extravaganza to which most of them do not have any base.
Triple H Talks About Roman Reigns Pulling Out Of WWE Wrestlemania 36
One of these was that Hall of Famer Edge and RAW active roster member Kevin Owens refused to work WrestleMania 36. Tapings for the event passed by last week’s Wednesday and Thursday night and the speculations suggest that these two names may have not competed in their scheduled matches. But there’s no truth to those claims in the social media as both of them delivered those bouts.
Will WWE Be Able To Air Raw & Smackdown After Wrestlemania 36?
Wrestling Observer is reported that the rumors were false as both Edge and Kevin Owens worked their respective WrestleMania 36 matches. Edge will be seen facing Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match whereas Kevin Owens will face Seth Rollins in a singles contest. Both these matches will be used to culminate in deep rivalries that has become personal over the past several months.
We can certainly believe that both these matches happened as per schedule as WWE provided the final buildups for these on this past edition of Monday Night Raw. Edge appeared in a pre-taped segment to send a message to Orton while Rollins planted Owens with a Stomp following a six-man tag team match.
WWE Not Interested To Sign CM Punk Or Alberto Del Rio, At All
Edge is also looking forward to his post-WrestleMania WWE career, for good.
During a recent interview with ESPN, the WWE Hall of Famer chose some of the names he wants to face after he is over with this WrestleMania feud with Randy Orton,
“AJ Styles and Edge has to happen. In 25 years in the same industry, we’ve never touched. How is that possible?
Guy like Roman Reigns, man, he’s special. He’s a leader, and he needs other leaders, and that’s what I can be. We felt a little bit of that at the Rumble, too.
Seth Rollins has to happen. Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Nakamura, Sami Zayn, Aleister Black for sure, Matt Riddle, WALTER, Tommaso Ciampa, Velveteen Dream.
Give them all to me, man. I just want to come in and work my tuchus off and have fun.” (courtesy wwfoldschool.com)
