It is that time of the year when WWE flies back to the middle-east country of Saudi Arabia to host the half-yearly pay-per-view event. Overall, the October 31st show named Crown Jewel is going to be the fourth such global show in the history of the company. One match of the event has become official, for now, that will feature a couple of legendary names in the forefront.
Sting Reveals He Wants Dream Match Against The Fiend Bray Wyatt
Former WWE Women’s Champion To Return To Smackdown From Injury?
It will be Team Ric Flair vs. Team Hulk Hogan at Crown Jewel in a 5-on-5 tag team match. Captain from Flair’s side will be Randy Orton whereas the Universal Champion Seth Rollins was about to lead Team Hogan. (he is no more on the matchup owing to the title match against The Fiend) King Corbin is going to be the second member of the heel team whereas Rusev is the second member of the opponent team. Early betting odds are out for this traditional tag team match hinting which team could pick up the victory.
As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds for Team Hogan vs Team Flair at WWE Crown Jewel are out. The star-studded lineup will surely get major attention heading into the show. Hulk Hogan would be much pleased to hear that he is on the winner’s side, for now. His team is the 1/3 favorite to take home the win whereas Flair, is the current underdog with a 9/4 odd.
The match must be having more inclusions in the future including some of the surprise attendees. The 5-on-5 concept must be an attraction for some of the fans. But then again, we’ll get another such matchup between Raw and SmackDown at Survivor Series PPV within a month. So the hardcore fans will be giving some negative feedback for sure. In fact, such vibes have already started ever since this mega match at Crown Jewel has become official.
Meanwhile, reports are available around the Crown Jewel show about which WWE is not fully opening up. Fightful Select reported that several WWE Superstars are not clear about whether they will be working the upcoming Saudi Arabia event. WWE might just let them know about the same in quick time since the event is coming up very soon, (courtesy ringsidenews.com)
“There are several people we’ve spoken to who still aren’t sure if they’re even supposed to make the trip over to Saudi Arabia in three weeks.”
I can guarantee I will get my hands on Flair one more time at Crown Jewel even if I have to make it a 6 on 6 match brother,by the way I still have one more leg drop left in me brother HH #Ricflair #WWERaw #Crownjewel pic.twitter.com/HnZCJbfILF

At this point, it’s hard to predict which superstars will be competing at Crown Jewel 2019. In general, WWE brings a lighter roster to its second Saudi Arabia show every year. So they probably won’t need the full roster members to finalize the match card. There’s no update available on whether WWE will be flying any female superstars to arrange a match for them.
