Status of the former WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks is still in jeopardy owing to the injury she suffered at Hell in a Cell. However, some positive reports are now available regarding her heading into this week’s episode of SmackDown. WrestlingINC.com provided an update on The Legit Boss of the company indicating that Sasha will be back to in-ring competition tonight. The host venue has now included her to be on the show. Here are more details from the source,
“Sasha Banks is now scheduled to be at Friday’s SmackDown in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, according to PWInsider. Banks is also scheduled to return to WWE live events this weekend. She is currently booked to be at Saturday’s live event from the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, and Sunday’s live event at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York.”

A report from PWInsider.com confirmed that Sasha Banks is having issues in her back. Details surrounding her condition are hard to come by but yet the source informed that the former WWE Raw women’s champion will be out of action for sometimes. There’s no update on how long she might have to stay out of actions. But it was the sole reason why we did not see her on any of the post-HIAC episodes of Monday Night Raw or SmackDown.
Update On Gorgeous Scarlett Bordeaux Signing With The Company
Sasha Banks is not the kind of person who likes to open about on her personal life in public. So it’s no wonder that she is tight-lipped on the situation making it hard for the fans to predict what could be next for her. There were also some rumors at some point whether the Legit Boss would be a part of the WWE Draft. But WWE did send her to SmackDown brand which was her demand for a long time.
The rivalry between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks has been a pretty heated one in the past few weeks. The heel antics of the challenger gave her the upper-hand and forced the sources to predict that she is coming out of Hell in a Cell as the new champion. But since Becky retained, Sasha’s back issue might have already existed even before the match. This might have been the reason why the officials did not choose her to walk out of the PPV as the new champion.
