WWE has sorted out the best moments of 2018 as the year comes to an end, tonight. Starting with WWE Raw, we had a big return in the list at number 10. We would not mind this one to see in an upper position as it’s none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin. He came back on the WWE Raw 25th anniversary show to prove that nobody can rock the crowd like he does, even today. And how about going old school by hitting some stunners on McMahons. This took us back to the Attitude Era on a very special night to start 2018 with a bang.
Moving forward, we had a reunion for the Balor Club where Gallows-Anderson teamed up with Finn Balor for one night only. Bayley turning on Sasha Banks was one of the most cheered moments for WWE Raw audience. It made it to the list but unfortunately, the officials did not plan accordingly to deliver a proper feud that was much-anticipated.
Elias had a dream year in 2018 by being the most promising superstar. His antics be it a babyface or heel is worth the watch. He proved it once again by letting the Seattle crowd booing him for seven minutes in a row. Shield reunion also made it to the list just because of its intensity. But this was not much successful, going forward as Dean Ambrose turned heel. This one incident is in the fourth place in the list.
Seth Rollins’ marathon run in the historic gauntlet match received the third place. Ronda Rousey making Stephanie McMahon tapping out reserved the second position in the list whereas Becky Lynch got the first place. She did so by hijacking WWE Raw with the Smackdown women’s division.
Countdown of the top moments on Smackdown starts with some decent returns from Brie Bella, Rey Mysterio, and Kane. Becky Lynch should have received a higher spot but his assault on Charlotte Flair received the sixth spot. Daniel Bryan was able to get into the list on two occasions. He has turned heel on AJ Styles to deliver the shocker of the year. Then there’s the most inspiring moment of all-time happened after WWE doctors cleared him to compete before Wrestlemania.
The third top moment of Smackdown in 2018 would be Carmella cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase against Charlotte Flair. She became the new champion the night after Wrestlemania. Plus, Evolution reunion also made it to the list thanks to Batista’s jab on Triple H. This can certainly culminate a Wrestlemania match in 2019.
